Odesa Business Club raised UAH 51.09 million for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Ribas Hotels Group joined in

Members of Odesa Business Club, after consulting with the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, raised UAH 51.09 million to address the urgent needs of the Armed Forces. Ribas Hotels Group contributed UAH 1.5 million to the fundraising. Thus, the company's CEO Artur Lupashko transferred UAH 1 million, and our social media followers raised almost UAH 500,000.

The funds raised were used to purchase remote-controlled firing stations and M2 Browning guns, as well as to integrate the equipment with tracked platforms, logistics and training for engineers and operators who will work directly with the equipment. This procurement will help the defenders defeat a variety of enemy targets and repel drone attacks that are plaguing Ukrainian cities.

“Business should be especially responsible in difficult conditions for the state and support it as much as possible. That is why we joined the fundraising for the Armed Forces of Ukraine initiated by Odesa Business Club last summer. And today we can finally share the results. Together we have raised over UAH 50 million, which is an impressive result! The equipment purchased with the funds raised has already been transferred to the military. You – our guests and subscribers – have also contributed to this fundraising. And we are grateful to you!” said Artur Lupashko, founder of Ribas Hotels Group.

In total, 34 companies whose CEOs are members of Odesa Business Club took part in the fundraiser.

It is worth noting that last year Artur Lupashko received a letter of appreciation from Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for his active citizenship, patriotism, and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, in 2023, Artur Lupashko transferred UAH 3.4 million to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through funds and directly to commanders who needed help.
