Ribas Hotels Group is the first hotel chain in Ukraine to use a barcode from “Diia” application at check-in
Ribas Hotels Group has become the first hotel chain in Ukraine, as it has banned the technology of transferring information through the barcode from Diia to the Servio HMS hotel system.The first properties to implement the technology were Wall Street by Ribas, Ribas Karpaty, Bortoli by Ribas, Hotel BossFor by Ribas, Play Hotel by Ribas. This is another step of the information breakthrough.
Previously, guests spent more time during the registration process. The administrator either requested documents to fill in the data, or scanned them. Now this process will be optimized and will take no longer than a minute. So, in hotels of the Ribas Hotels Group chain, scanners are installed, with which administrators read the barcode of the document in action for registration. The guest only needs to confirm the request in the app to send a copy of the digital document. Digital copies of documents are transmitted to the hotel's Servio HMS information system.
During the transfer process, the data recipient will be provided with a digital copy of the electronic document in PDF format (signed with the action cap and marked with the date, time and name of the data recipient), as well as metadata in JSON format with the corresponding fields from the document./p>
Documents in the Diia app are digital analogs of paper documents; they have the same legal force. Accordingly, copies of digital documents are signed and encrypted PDF files with user data, which are formed from information from state registers and sent through the Diya application. In addition to PDF files, metadata is also transmitted in JSON format with the corresponding fields from the document./p>

Diia 2.0 is an updated mobile application that allows Ukrainians to access their digital documents such as ID card and foreign biometric passport, student ID card, driver's license, vehicle registration certificate, vehicle insurance policy, tax number (RNOCPP), birth certificate and IDP certificate.
