Count Erwin-Friedrich Schönborn-Buheim – who is he?
A descendant of the Habsburg dynasty, to which in 1711 the lands of Transcarpathia, including the village of Polyana
Wikipedia tells us that in a wonderful corner of Transcarpathia, not far from Mukachevo, there is a unique castle-estate of the Austrian Counts of Schönborn. In addition to the enchanting beauty of the castle, Count Schönborn was remembered by the locals for his passion for hunting and his jealousy of his wife Franziska. He believed in fortune-tellers, forced his wife to climb and descend from the cliff opposite the castle to prove her loyalty.
We are sure that today the Count and Countess would live soul to heart, because they worked through a family crisis together with a psychologist, survived one pandemic and the construction of a joint estate together.
So, the year is 2027. The Count and Countess live in a modern family castle in Polyana with their children.
